I was born and raised in North Bay, Ontario and discovered my passion for growing bellies and beautiful babies as a young teenager when I was fortunate enough to attend my cousin's birth. I was hooked! I spent the following years becoming educated and experienced in my career as a midwife.
I completed my Bachelor of Life Science degree at McMaster University in 2005 then graduated from the Midwifery Education programme at Laurentian University in April 2009 and have been practicing ever since. I have learned and practiced in Sudbury, Toronto, North Bay, Ottowa, and Mwanza Tanzania. I moved to Collingwood in the Fall 2010 to join and learn at Midwives Nottawasaga and it is one of the best decisions I have ever made.
When I'm not busy catching babies, I spend most of my time outdoors. I love skiing, running and Frisbee. You will usually catch me with my Nikon in hand capturing all of life's moments. I'm also an avid traveller having been to five continents and over 25 countries.
Midwifery is such a rewarding career and I feel truly blessed to be a part of such a special time in people's lives. Thank you!
