Prior to becoming a midwife, I was employed as a school and public librarian in Simcoe County. However, the powerful and profound stories of women’s childbirth experiences attracted me to working with pregnant women and babies. My own birthing experiences were the catalyst for becoming a midwife.
I graduated from McMaster University in 2007. My student placements were done with Midwives Grey-Simcoe in Owen Sound and Collingwood and with Caring Hands Midwifery Services in Alliston.
I am very pleased to be a part of Midwives Nottawasaga and excited about the growth and expansion of our practice in the years to come. I look forward to providing respectful and supportive care to all our clients, both new and returning.
